U14 Dave Pitcairn Cup

The Rustenburg U14 team participated in the annual Dave Pitcairn Cup hosted by Reddam House. The tournament always attracts some of the best U14 Water Polo teams from the Cape and up country.

The team did well and gave it a good effort considering three players are new to the sport. The matches on day one were tough but the team never dropped their heads. The team spirit was strong and they finished day one strong with a well-deserved win.

The team grew in confidence on day two. They scored more goals and grew more confident in their play. The tournament came to an end on day three with a narrow victory over Pearson 5-4, exacting revenge from the pool game where the team lost 2-9.

The Rustenburg U14 team finished 11th overall.
