Alexander Road Water Polo Festival

The first of the school’s Water Polo tours kicked off with the U16A team travelling to Gqeberha to take part in the Alexander Road Water Polo Festival. Spirits were high at the airport and excitement filled the air. Some were taking to the skies for the first time, while others were bracing themselves for their first weekend away from their parents/ guardians.

Traditionally, a tournament designed for senior teams, our U16A team expected and knew that they were in for a challenging time. The team played 11 games, winning 6 and losing 5, with most defeats by the narrowest of margins. There were some exceptional individual and team performances that contributed to what was a very successful tour.

Congratulations to Coach Teagan and her team.

Indoor Hockey

The second week of the Indoor Hockey league was split across three venues, meaning all hands had to be on deck for our coaching staff. While we had a mixed bag of results, it was evident that the week’s worth of training was invaluable.

Our teams have made huge strides and we look forward to seeing continued improvements as the season goes on.
