Champions Cup Football Finals

We are excited to be hosting the remaining fixtures of the Champions Cup Football tournament, where we will soon find out who will be crowned the 2026 Football Champions.

The schools still in contention for the title are Wynberg Girls’ High School, St Cyprian’s High School, Wise Up, and Springfield Convent School 1st Team. We are delighted to welcome these teams and look forward to some exciting, high-quality matches as the competition reaches its climax.

Football

The football teams have kick-started the season by showcasing their skill, teamwork, and determination. Their commitment to training has not gone unnoticed, and the results are a true reflection of their hard work. Well done to both teams. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and success as the season progresses.

As we continue in the Youth Squash League, matches took place on Wednesday, 13 May. Both teams displayed great grit and skill throughout. Despite the unfavourable weather earlier in the week, which resulted in fixtures being rescheduled, this did not affect their focus or performance.

We are proud of the effort shown by both teams and look forward to their continued growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship as the league season progresses.

Hockey

Over the last week, our Rustenburg Hockey teams have turned their focus fully onto the league with our opposition for the week: Wynberg Girls’ High School. The teams were ready and put in some impressive performances. All three of our A teams won their matches, and our U16B team showed that they are a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, due to the weather on Tuesday, the U14B and U19B matches were postponed and will be played in the near future. Some of our teams played internal matches, which turned out to be a lot of fun and a very competitive environment. This reminded us of the true spirit of hockey, where friendships, memories and growth are the most important.
