Hockey

This past weekend saw a clash between Rustenburg Girls’ High School and Hoërskool Durbanville. Durbanville has been a contender to win the Western Province Hockey League this season and proposed an exciting prospect for Rustenburg to test itself.

Our U14A Team struggled against a very good opposition but has learned some valuable lessons. The U16A team put on a dominant display but could not find the goals to show this as they succumbed to a draw; their first drop of points in the league this season. Our U19A team put in a display of serious hard-work and determination to beat Durbanville, forcing their first loss of the season. On the whole Rustenburg Hockey suffered only 2 losses this past weekend as every single learner did their school proud.
