Water Polo
From 12-23 September 2025, Jade Jarvis (Grade 11) had the incredible opportunity to travel to Sabadell, Spain, with Team Elevate to compete in the Next Generation Cup – a premier tournament that showcases the finest U19 water polo talent from across Europe and beyond. With elite teams from Spain, Hungary, France, the United Kingdom, Serbia, the USA, the Netherlands, Portugal, Malta, and more, this tournament is recognised as the pinnacle of youth water polo development.
Jade’s time in Spain was not only competitive but also profoundly developmental. She participated in intensive training sessions with BIPWA (Barcelona International Project for Water Polo Advancement), where she was introduced to new defensive strategies and advanced techniques. Reflecting on her experience, Jade shared:
Her growth was evident when the competition began. Over the course of the tournament, Team Elevate showcased determination and ultimately advanced to the semi-finals. Though the team narrowly missed a podium finish after a hard-fought match against Israel in the 3rd and 4th place playoff, Jade remained proud of the journey, ending in a commendable 4th place overall.
This experience was not only a chance for Jade to test her skills against top-tier international athletes but also a wonderful opportunity to immerse herself in high-performance training and gain a deeper understanding of the global game.

Biathlon
We are proud to share that Tamryn van Aswegen (Grade 9) competed in the WP Winter Biathlon Championships, where she achieved an impressive bronze medal in the Girls U17 category.
The event tested athletes in both an 800m run and a 100m swim, with rankings determined by their combined points across the two disciplines. Tamryn’s hard work and determination truly paid off — well done!
