Our First Team got their Indoor Hockey league campaign up and running with two strong results against local PGSGU rivals, Wynberg Girls’ High School and St Cyprian’s School.

With exposure to training on an indoor hockey facility for the First and Second teams already proving invaluable, it is shaping up to be a very bright season for the young teams, under the tutelage of head coach, Ms Sasha Siversten.

Swimming

This past weekend, Michaela Labuschagne (Grade 12) participated in the challenging Mad Dash swim in Langebaan on January 1st. Despite battling a knee injury, Michaela completed the impressive 8km swim, which began at 4:30 am, finishing in a time of 2 hours and 5 minutes. Her determination and skill paid off as she placed 4th overall and claimed 1st place among the women. We are incredibly proud of Michaela, showcasing both her resilience and athleticism in the face of adversity. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement.
