The 1st Hockey team played Bellville HS on Monday 3 June at home and won 2-1, with goals by Nika Hofmeyr (Grade 11) and Rebecca Byssche (Grade 12).
We had 23 circle entries and completely dominated the game with some outstanding build-up play. The score doesn’t reflect the number of opportunities we had, but the team played exceptionally well and kept the ball for long periods of time and thus denied the opposition the time and space to create any attacking play.
The team has grown and moulded into a unit that shows much promise as the season goes on – Coach Andi
