Recently, Madame Williams’s Grade 11 French class surprised her with a typical French dinner. The evening was a farewell of sorts for Madame and was, by general consensus, spectacular.
It was a welcome reprieve from the stress of the term and was abundant with interesting conversation and wonderful French food, provided by all of the guests.
The girls did a great job with the cuisine and we were all impressed by each other’s culinary efforts. It was a wonderful opportunity to socialise with the class outside of the school environment and we had an exquisite setting to do it in.
The décor was beautiful and detail-orientated to the theme of the tricolore, the French flag. Many thanks go to Mrs van der Merwe for the décor, to the girls for a lovely evening and to Madame. Merci beaucoup!
