Service Groups

Rustenburg High School for Girls endorses the idea of a well-rounded and balanced education, and strong extra-curricular involvement, whether cultural, service-oriented or sporting, form an important part of this balance. Audio-Visual Team

This team manages the sound and lighting for all school functions, from assembly presentations to parent-teacher meetings and the Inter-House Drama Festival.


Bon Appetit

Senior Consumer Studies learners (Grades 10 to 12) are responsible for catering at numerous school events and functions, including the Founder’s Day tea and dinner, the welcoming function for new parents, the Mother-and-Daughters’ Tea and various Awards functions.


Bug’s Boutique School Shop

A group of learners who deliver a service to the school shop by helping with stock counting and unpacking of new stock.


First Aid Team

Th First Aid Team receives basic First Aid training and is present at sports home matches to provide First Aid support.

Peer Tutoring

Free extra lessons, usually provided by senior Rustenburg girls in Grades 10 to 12, are available to Rustenburg learners. The sessions take place on the school property and are available for a wide range of academic subjects.
