Vivaldi Gloria Rehearsals and Performances

The first half will open with a combined Concert Band performing Looney Tunes Overture by Bill Holcombe, Mussorgsky’s `Pictures at an Exhibition’ and Queen in Concert by Jay Bock. The Combined Choirs and Concert Band will perform an arrangement of John Williams’ moving `Hymn to the Fallen’ from the film Saving Private Ryan. A combined Orchestra will accompany RBHS violin soloist, Michael Duffett in the 3rd movement of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto.

Antonio Vivaldi’s much-loved `Gloria’ will follow after the Interval performed by the combined Choirs and Orchestras (plus ad hoc players) of RGHS, RBHS & SACS. Don’t miss these two exciting performances, which will be as much fun for the performers as for listeners.
