Hymn Festival at St George's Cathedral

The RGHS & RBHS Chamber Choirs are joining the Cathedral Choir and University Cathedral Singers in a Hymn Festival `There’s a Wideness’ at St Georges Cathedral on Sunday 18 October, starting at 19:00. Various hymns with organ and brass accompaniment and other items, e.g. `The Heavens are Telling’ from Haydn’s oratorio The Creation, including two items by the joint RGHS/RBHS Choir: John Tavener’s Funeral Ikos and Loyset Compere’s O bone Jesu will be performed.

Admission is free, but a freewill offering will be taken. Come and join in this Festival of Hymns in the superb acoustics of St George’s Cathedral, Wale Stree, Cape Town and support your Choir.
