Rustenburg High School for Girls is perhaps best known for its outstanding academic results, primarily based on learner achievements in the National Senior Certificate Examinations, which has resulted in its securing a position as one of the top 10 schools in the Western Cape.

Apart from employing well qualified and competent educators, with a passion for their subjects, learners are encouraged to take responsibility for their studies and to become enquiring, critical thinkers who will develop a desire to explore beyond the confines of the curriculum, thereby nurturing both personal and intellectual growth, and building the foundation for lifelong learning.

Rustenburg High School for Girls was proud and delighted to be named as the top school in the Western Cape on the basis of our 2011 Matric Results. In 2009, the school was placed fifth in the country in the prestigious Sunday Times Top 100 Schools survey.
